People first: Blupura’s path toward Gender Equality

A concrete commitment to promoting equity, inclusion and respect in the workplace

Creating a fair, inclusive and respectful working environment is a responsibility that Blupura has chosen to embrace over time, through concrete and measurable actions. This commitment has recently led to the achievement of the Gender Equality Certification, in compliance with the UNI/PdR 125:2022 Reference Practice, marking an important step within a structured, long-term journey focused on equity, inclusion and respect in the workplace.

While representing a significant milestone, this certification is not a point of arrival, but rather a tool for measuring and continuously improving the company’s organisational and cultural practices, with a clear focus on people.


From analysis to action: a structured approach

The certification process began with a gap analysis, aimed at providing a clear snapshot of Blupura’s current situation with regard to gender equality. This assessment made it possible to identify strengths, areas for improvement and key priorities, laying the groundwork for the definition of a three-year action plan with clear and measurable objectives.

Based on this evaluation, Blupura launched a series of concrete initiatives, some of which have already been implemented.


Actions already implemented

Among the measures introduced as part of Blupura’s journey toward Gender Equality:

  • Birth bonus: a €1,000 financial contribution granted to Blupura employees who become parents, supporting parenthood and work–life balance;

  • Idea box: a dedicated space for collecting suggestions and proposals from all employees, with the aim of improving workplace climate and organisational well-being;

  • Establishment of a company steering committee, responsible for guiding, monitoring and supporting the implementation of planned initiatives;

  • Allocation of a dedicated budget, earmarked both for training activities and for the distribution of performance-related bonuses;

  • Development of a Gender Equality Policy, accompanied by a dedicated manual and the drafting of new procedures, as well as the integration of existing ones, in order to structurally embed gender equality principles within company processes.

The actions undertaken involve all the company’s core processes — from design to production, from sales to service — ensuring consistency between declared values and everyday operational practices.


A commitment looking to the future

The Gender Equality Certification represents an ongoing commitment for Blupura, based on continuous monitoring, responsibility and transparency. Through defined objectives and measurable actions, the company aims to foster a working environment in which diversity is recognised as a value and equal opportunities are actively supported.

Finally, a special thank you goes to Claudia Piattoni, Blupura’s Quality Manager, who personally oversaw the certification process. A process that reflects the attention and value Blupura places on its people, and that translates into concrete responsibilities and everyday actions.
